Who can apply for help from Next Home Ministries?

If you and/or your children are experiencing homelessness due to incarceration, unemployment, underemployment, domestic violence, divorce, substance abuse (must be 30 days sober), or mental illness we can help.

Women with Children

We help find employment, referrals for living arrangements, and child care. We'll help with your interview skills, resume, and business attire for interviews.

Women in Crisis

Women who are experiencing domestic violence need a safe place to land. We can help you start over safely.

Incarcerated Women

Call us if you or someone you know is being paroled or receiving conditional release and needs help getting started.

As part of their agreement to receive help from Next Home Ministries, women must agree to participate in daily classes to support their wellbeing and personal development. Our goal is to help these women locate and receive safe and affordable housing. Upon completion, the women are equipped with the tools and resources to sustain independent living.

Empowering women to rise above their circumstances

Since 2017 Next Home Ministries has provided services for over 850 diverse women entering their communities after incarceration in Georgia. We offer a holistic, comprehensive approach to services and resources to support formerly incarcerated women and their children. Next Home Ministries helps to provide a safe, supportive, loving environment that nourishes and replenishes women physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually.

We help women go from homelessness to self-sufficiency through selective critical services based on individual assessments and needs. Next Home Ministries is an organization that helps displaced women and children by helping to find safe and affordable housing and providing clothing, food, and spiritual support. We are a foundation that believes in restoring the heart through spiritual awakening and emotional guidance and support. Our service is open to whoever needs help.

Many homeless individuals struggle with some form of mental illness. Though not a direct cause of homelessness, mentally ill individuals lack access to support services or the ability to find housing and obtain needed medical treatment.
